Somewhere around the year 1997, the
idea of a portable, comfortable, lightweight,
durable stadium seat became embedded in the mind of
the inventor, Kardel, because his wife, Julie, spent
many, many hours sitting on the hard, uncomfortable
bleachers as she watched their three sons, Brock,
Ian and Jordy, play baseball while Kardel was busy
assisting with coaching responsibilities.
After about two years of intense
thought and the building and rebuilding of the seat,
it finally happened; the seat was now perfect in the
eyes and for the behind of the inventor!
The company became incorporated on
May 1, 2000 and on January 7, 2003 Kardel received a
patent on his invention. The company manufactures
and sells, both wholesale and retail, portable
stadium seats, mesh bags and cup holders for the
stadium seats, and seat cushions.
